Description

Circa 1927 "Babe" Ruth Single Signed Baseball. Pay attention the quotation marks around the "Babe," as it assures the most desirable Bambino vintage possible. Ruth dropped the punctuation around 1928, definitively dating this Spalding "Star" baseball to the homicidal height of Murderer's Row. His black fountain pen ink has survived the better part of a century admirably, teetering between an impressive "7" and "8" on a scale of 10. The ball remains free of any noteworthy defects, gently toned to a pleasing vintage patina. A solid investment for the advanced Ruth collector. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
