Description
Circa 1927 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The quotation marks around "Babe" and the Ban Johnson presidential stamping of the Official American League ball that serves as the autograph's home strongly suggest a birthdate near the glorious sixty home run World Championship season of 1927. While the ball's vintage and model are ideal for a Ruth single, the inscription is admittedly less that ideal, with the side panel personalization all but lost to the ravages of time. Thankfully the autograph itself is quite a bit better, rating perhaps 5/10 in black fountain pen ink. Still a highly collectible sphere, particularly for those seeking a relic of Ruth's greatest era.
