Description

Circa 1920 Grover Cleveland Alexander Signed Baseball. Always a tough autograph, and particularly on horsehide, the troubled but brilliant Alexander presents here quite convincingly as a single, though an unidentified signature on the northern panel negates the terminology. We prefer to see this as a "glass half full" phenomenon, however, as it may result in a price tag short of the five-figure mark common to genuine solo spheres from the inaugural class Hall of Famer. The desirable "G.C. Alexander" sweet spot autograph rates a solid 7/10, and the "Buster Brown" baseball is moderately and evenly toned. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
