Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Red Ruffing, and Paul Krichell were all key figures connected through the New York Yankees' golden era. Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig formed one of the most feared hitting duos in baseball history during the 1920s and early 1930s, leading the Yankees to multiple championships. Red Ruffing, a star pitcher, joined the Yankees in 1930 and played alongside Gehrig, becoming an integral part of their continued success in the 1930s and early 1940s.
