2009 World Series Game Used Baseball Signed by Derek Jeter. A franchise seeped in tradition, the New York Yankees claimed their twenty-seventh World Series title in 2009. This would be historic on several fronts. It ended up being Derek Jeter's last World Series appearance and title. It would also mark the first time much-maligned superstar Alex Rodriguez could call himself a champion. Used in Game One of that series is this OML (Selig) World Series baseball. According to the MLB website, the ball was hurled by CC Sabathia during an encounter with Ben Francisco and includes an MLB hologram (LH 733110). The burly lefty induced a ground out to third on the play. The ball has the proper rub/dirt marks. Jeter signed a side panel in 10/10 ballpoint ink. A Steiner hologram and matching certificate attend. MLB hologram (LH 733110). COA from Steiner. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
