    Description

2004 Mariano Rivera All-Star Game Final Out Baseball with Player Letter. Given the short shelf life of closers, we expect Mariano Rivera's saves record to remain safe. The Hall of Famer also set the standard when it came to closing out All-Star Games. Rivera's four All-Star saves hasn't been topped to date. The offered All-Star Game ball recorded the final out of the 2004 exhibition. A signed letter of provenance, signed by Rivera, states: "I, Mariano Rivera, hereby certify that the enclosed baseball was used to record the last out during the All-Star Game on July 13, 2004."

Properly prepped, the ball has red and white stitches and a special "All-Star Game" emblem on the south panel. Rivera signed near the All-Star reference "Game Used 2004 AS Ball" in blue ballpoint. Letter of provenance from Mariano Rivera. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
