    Description

2003 Greg Maddux Game Used & Signed Baseball from Game Which He Broke Cy Young's Record of Consecutive 15 Win Seasons, MLB Authentic. Blessed with pinpoint accuracy, Greg Maddux didn't need to be overpowering. His 85 mile per hour fastball probably looked like it was coming in 100 miles per hour given Maddux's ability to change speeds and locate a baseball like few others. On September 21, 2003 Maddux broke Cy Young's record of recording 15 or more wins in 16 straight seasons. This OML (Selig) ball was used in the record-breaking game. The ball shows proper use and has a black contact mark. A MLB hologram (MR 221691) rests just below the Rawlings stamping. We checked on-line on the MLB website and this is listed as: "Game used when Greg Maddux broke Cy Young record Sept. 21, 2003 Game used baseball." Maddux signed the sweet spot and inscribed "15x16" in 9/10 black ballpoint. MLB Authentic MR 221691. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
