Description

2003 Gary Sheffield 2,000th Career Hit Game Used & Signed Baseball with Sheffield Letter. After homering in the bottom of the ninth to help draw even with the visiting Florida Marlins on September 20, 2003, the nine-time All-Star outfielder for the Atlanta Braves smacked this OML (Selig) ball for a tenth-inning single off pitcher Chad Fox to bring his career hit total to an even 2,000. Sheffield signs the side panel and provides his personally handwritten notation to commemorate the milestone. Ink is 10/10. Ball exhibits appropriate game use. Letter of provenance from Gary Sheffield. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
