2000 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball.After a forty-four-year absence, the Big Apple finally had another Subway Series, as the Yankees and the Mets made the Fall Classic an all-New York affair. Tensions ran high that October, as Roger Clemens nearly harpooned Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza with the shard of a broken bat in Game Two, but the overmatched National League Champions were unable to avenge the insult. Twenty-three signatures of the three-peating World Champs adorn this Official World Series ball, including Torre, Jeter, Rivera, Pettitte, Posada, Clemens Martinez, Cone, Williams, Gooden and more.
