Description
1999 Wade Boggs Signed Hit #2990 Baseball. In the summer of 1999, Wade Boggs was on a quest for his 3000th hit. It would come in a new uniform, that of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, on August 7th. Offered in this lot is one of the baseballs leading up to that milestone. From a July 28th contest, this OAL (Budig) baseball was hit number 2,990 for Boggs. He has signed the sweet spot in 9/10 quality and added the hit number and date on the ball. Baseball shows nice use with toning and no damage. Comes with a letter from Boggs attesting to the nature of the baseball and that it came from his personal collection. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
