Description

1995 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball With Derek Jeter Rookie Signature. Winning the American League Wild Card, the Yanks looked for awhile like they might have had a chance to win a championship in Derek Jeter's rookie season. Unfortunately for the boys in the Bronx, they would lose their first match-up to the Seattle Mariners. Still, it would prove to be good playoff experience for the freshman Jeter, and would serve as a launching pad to several pennants and championships over the next two decades.

This ball includes Jeter, of course, humbly signed on a side panel befit for a rookie, but in nice 9/10 ink. Also appearing are Yankee keys Wade Boggs, Buck Showalter (sweet spot), Randy Velarde, perennial favorite Paul O'Neill, Steve Howe (who passed away in 2006), Andy Pettitte and Bernie Williams. The OAL (Budig) ball is bright white with no distractions, while the signatures average 8-9/10. A couple light spots of smudging affect mainly the Steve Howe and Scott Bankhead signatures. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
