1991 Rickey Henderson Breaks Career Stolen Base Record Game Used Baseball. "Lou Brock was a great base stealer," Henderson crowed to a jubilant Oakland Coliseum crowd, "but today I am the greatest of all time!" Moments earlier, he had swiped the 939th base of his Hall of Fame career to pass the legendary Lou Brock, en route to a final tally of 1,406, a record as safe as any in professional sports.

Presented is a rare game used baseball from that historic afternoon by the Bay, a well-worn OAL (Brown) ball signed twice by the game's greatest lead-off man and notated, "5/1/91 game ball" in his hand. This is the first ball from that contest we've ever presented for sale. COA from PSA/DNA.
