Description
1991 Kirby Puckett World Series Game 6 Game Used Baseball Originally Sourced from Puckett. Many regard Game 7 of the 1991 World Series as the finest deciding game in the baseball's great history. But to get to Game 7, the Twins needed a little bit of magic. Kirby Puckett famously told his teammates to get on his back because he was carrying them to another game. Not only did Puckett make a catch at the wall to rob Ron Gant of extra bases in Game 6, but he sent the Metrodome into a frenzy by homering off of Charlie Leibrandt in the bottom of the eleventh inning. Jack Buck famously told the listening audience, "We'll see you tomorrow." This baseball saw action in that historic game in Minneapolis. A copy of the original letter of authenticity states the ball was given by Puckett to equipment manager Jim Wiesmer. The letter is signed by Jim Benson of Sportsdesk. Displaying solid use throughout, the 1991 World Series ball is signed by Puckett across the sweet spot in 8/10 ink. A noticeable black mark is on the sweet spot stampings. Copy of the original letter of provenance from Sportsdesk. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services.
