1986 Gary Carter 100th RBI Home Run Baseball from The Gary Carter Collection. The Kid reached triple digits in style during the Mets World Championship season, victimizing his old team with a three-run blast to make franchise history. He reports the details on the side panel of the well-used ONL (Feeney) ball: "100th RBI ball, a 3-run home run off Floyd Youmans in Montreal 10/2/86, it gave me 102 RBI's, Mets 9 Expos 5, GW RBI, 1st Met to have 2 100 RBI seasons." Carter got the score wrong--it was actually eight to two--but everything else checks out. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
