1985 Pete Rose 4,192 Hit Game Used Baseball with Teammate Letter. Pete Rose finally caught the great Ty Cobb when he dumped a single into the outfield September 11, 1985 against Eric Show. The entire crowd rejoiced while Rose was left in tears. This ONL (Feeney) baseball saw action that fateful night at Riverfront Stadium. Properly prepped, the offered ball is signed by Rose and inscribed "Ball from 4192 Hit Game" on a separate panel. A letter of provenance from teammate and former pitcher Ron Robinson seals authentication. Robinson states: "This is a game used ball from Pete Rose 4192 Game. I Ron Robinson, removed the ball from the game and had Pete Rose address the ball with the words "Ball From 4192 Hit Game" and sign the ball after the completion of the game." Letter of provenance from Ron Robinson. Pre-Certified by PSA/DNA.
