1984-88 Ray Morehart Single Signed Baseball. Arriving in New York just in time for the 1927 season was infielder Ray Morehart. The powerful antics of Ruth and Gehrig must have rubbed off on the pesky second baseman as he clubbed his only home run as a member of Murderers' Row. Because he only played three seasons, Morehart may have been a forgotten figure among collectors. Well, not to the person who secured Morehart's signature on this OAL (Brown) baseball. Morehart signed on in black felt tip to the sweet spot and added a "1927 Yankees" inscription. Slight ink saturation is visible on the 9/10 penning. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
