1980's Ted Williams "Splendid Splinter" Single Signed Baseball. Only slightly more common than World Series appearances for the greatest hitter that ever lived are single signed baseballs inscribed thusly, so if you think you may as well wait until the next one, remember that's probably what Red Sox fans were thinking in 1918.
