1980's Billy Martin Single Signed Baseball. Billy Martin often said, "I may not have been the greatest Yankee to put on the uniform, but I was the proudest." He was also one on the most liked, by players and fans alike. His strong work ethic and fiery style of play led him to become a five-time champion with the New York Yankees and the Most Valuable Player of the 1953 World Series. In fact, Martin always saved his best for the post season, hitting .333 in twenty-eight Fall Classic games. Billy signed this OAL (MacPhail) baseball on the sweet spot in ballpoint pen. The stamp on the ball has faded and there is some minor discoloration on the cover. However, Martin's autograph is bold and clear, 7/10. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
