1979 Carl Yastrzemski Signed Check. Carl Yastrzemski was a legendary left fielder who played his entire 23-season career (1961-1983) with the Boston Red Sox. Known as "Yaz," he was a skilled all-around player celebrated for his hitting, defense, and leadership. He won seven Gold Gloves, made 18 All-Star teams, and in 1967 captured the Triple Crown-leading the league in batting average, home runs, and RBIs-while carrying the Red Sox to the pennant in the famed "Impossible Dream" season. Yastrzemski retired with 3,419 hits, 452 home runs, and a reputation as one of the greatest and most durable players in MLB history. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1989.Offered is a check signed on the back by Yaz. General processing wear exhibited. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
