1977 Reggie Jackson Original Folk Art Baseball by George Sosnak. George Sosnak, an umpire of the highest order, was also quite the impressionist. The arbiter turned folk artist created a masterpiece when he took this baseball in his capable hands and painted the story of Reggie Jackson's remarkable 1977 World Series three-home run performance. The north panel features the Yankees box score while the opposite side has L.A.'s stat line. Another panel shows Mr. October in full swing, and the final angle depicts logos of both teams. Every conceivable angle boasts the unmistakable work of Sosnak. NM with light wear throughout.Auction Info
