Description

1970's Satchel Paige Single Signed Baseball. Fellow Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean once said of Paige, "He's a better pitcher than I ever hope to be," explaining that "My fastball looks like a change of pace alongside that little pistol bullet Satchel shoots up to the plate." Widely considered the greatest pitcher ever developed by the Negro Leagues, Paige applied his 8.5/10 black ink signature to the side panel of the provided ONL (Feeney) ball. Mottled toning adds to the vintage aesthetic, and does not minimize the boldness of Paige's autograph. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
