    Description

1970's Satchel Paige Single Signed Baseball. Fellow Hall of Famer Dizzy Dean once said of Paige, "He's a better pitcher than I ever hope to be," explaining that "My fastball looks like a change of pace alongside that little pistol bullet Satchel shoots up to the plate." Perhaps the greatest pitcher ever developed by the Negro Leagues, Paige applied his wonderfully bold blue ink signature to a side panel on this unofficial ball from later in his life. "Best Wishes from" is joined by a bold signature from the diamond legend. Ball remains white, while the signature has been shellacked. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
