1970's Red Ruffing Single Signed "Stat" Baseball. We feel pretty comfortable asserting that this offering is, bar none, the finest Ruffing single in existence. We expect all viewers will share that sentiment, as our lengthy research finds not a single other example that delves so deep into the resume of this Hall of Fame hurler. Remember that Ruffing passed away in 1986, years before the practice of adding special notations to signed baseballs came into fashion. And this one hits every possible note, reading, in full:"Sincerely Yours, Red Ruffing, Hall of Fame Induction July 24, 1969, Majors 23 Yrs., Won 273, Lost 225, Shutouts 52, Strikeouts 1987, Innings 4,342, World Series 7-Won 7/ L-3, All Star Games 6."
