1969 New York Mets Team Signed Baseball. The New York Mets shocked the collective sporting world in 1969 by rising to the top of the baseball landscape. Gil Hodges pushed all the right buttons as the Mets were truly Amazin' in '69. Signed by the bulk of the squad is this slightly aged OAL (Cronin) baseball. The blue ballpoint signatures average 8/10 while the black counterparts are a few notches below. We are able to link the ball's vintage to 1969 because it includes Bobby Pfeil, who played 62 games in his only campaign with the Mets. The twenty-three signatures include: Pignatano, Harrelson, Shamsky, Swoboda, Berra, Hodges, Weis, Koosman, Seaver, Taylor, Pfeil, Charles, Ryan, DiLauro, McGraw, Koonce, Kranepool, McAndrew, Grote, Boswell, Mayor John Lindsay and two more. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
