1968 Detroit Tigers Team Signed Baseball. Few things can bring together a city like the game of baseball. In 1968, Detroit became one as the Tigers clinched the American League pennant and World Series title. Denny McClain took home Cy Young and MVP honors as he won 31 games. This noticeably white OAL (Cronin) baseball is signed by twenty-six members of the team in blue ballpoint. Most of the autographs average 8/10. Rightfully so, McClain is reserved for the sweet spot. Others who signed include: Wert, Matchick, Christian, Warden, Tracewski, Smith, Face, Kaline, Sain, Cuccinello, Oyler, Horton, Lolich, Mathews, Sparma, McClain, Cash, Wyatt, Comer, Northrup, Hiller and five more. We attribute the ball to '68 because John Wyatt only appeared in Motor City during the '68 campaign. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
