Description

1960's Max Carey Single Signed Baseball. The finest defensive center fielder in the National League during his prime, "Scoops" also topped the charts in stolen bases ten times and retired as the most prolific base thief in League history. His career with the Pittsburgh Pirates spanned the days of Honus Wagner and Fred Clarke to the emergence of Pie Traynor and Paul Waner. Here he appears on the sweet spot of a baseball stamped with the words "Baseball Hall of Fame," offering a bold blue ink signature that competes exceedingly well with the rare few singles we've encountered in the past. A thin coat of shellac has been brushed over the autograph, toning only a fraction of a shade, while a scuff to the panel directly over the sweet spot does not affect the fine autograph in the slightest. LOA from Steve Grad & Zach Rullo/ PSA DNA.
