Description

1960's Lefty Grove Single Signed Baseball. Discovered on a Baltimore sandlot by the same scout who discovered Babe Ruth, Robert Grove was twenty-five years old when he threw his first Major League pitch and yet still retired with an even three hundred career victories. Here we present a tough single from the superstar southpaw, his blue ink sweet spot signature rating an 8.5/10 on an "Official Pony League" ball. Despite living almost thirty years beyond his 1947 Hall of Fame induction, Grove is rarely seen in this format so bidders should pay close attention. It may be a while before a comparable specimen makes it way to the auction block. LOA from PSA/DNA (Graded EX-MT+ 6.5). Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
