Description

1960 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball. While Bobby Thomson's "Shot" is generally accepted to be the most historic of all long balls, ask fans in Pittsburgh and you'll hear instead that it was Bill Mazeroski's Series-ending blast that earned the twenty-six Bucs that signed this ball a World Championship crown. The Hall of Fame hero is here on this ONL (Giles) ball, joined by fellow superstar Clemente, Law, Skinner, Face, Friend, Groat, Virdon, Burgess and more. Murtaugh and Stuart have been deemed secretarial. Signature quality is a terrific 8/10 average and the very lightly toned ball offers only a single spot of foxing that is placed well clear of the autographs. A high-grade sphere from an unforgettable season. LOA from PSA/DNA.
