1960 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball from The Joseph O'Toole Collection. The 1960 season would reap the first of five straight A.L. flags for the Yankees, thanks in part to the services of the newly acquired Roger Maris. Rog would go on to capture his first of two consecutive A.L. MVP awards while leading his team into a World Series confrontation versus N.L. MVP Dick Groat's Pittsburgh Pirates.

This OAL (Cronin) sphere offered here immortalizes the Yanks 1960 season for eternity. Twenty-six signatures abound with large, bold, and beautiful exemplars of Berra and Mantle (sharing the sweet spot), Maris (adjacent to the right of league stamp), and Stengel (clubhouse, atop a side panel over the Reach stamp). Other notable Bombers in attendance include Ford, Howard, Terry, Turley, Skowron, Richardson, Kubek, and Boyer. "1960" has been on a side panel in vintage ink as well.

Aside from some inconsequential toning to the ball and minor fading on the league stamp, the overall condition of this offering can be described at NRMT. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Letter of provenance from Joseph O'Toole's son.
