1959 N.L. All-Star Team (Second Game) Signed Baseball from The Al Kaline Collection. This was the first season that MLB did two All-Star Games per year. To celebrate the occasion, Al made it a point to pick up a team ball from the "bad guys" in the second game. Signed by twenty-eight, this OAL (Harridge) sphere features Hall of Famers Musial (sweet spot), Aaron, Maz, Banks, Mathews, and Ashburn. Other greats include Crandall, Podres, Friend, Haney, Mayo Smith, and more. The ball was shellacked to protect the blue ink autographs, which sparkle at an overall 9/10 in strength. Mild toning.
