    Description

1958 American League All-Star Team Signed Baseball. While most players never realize such a dream, a ballplayer never forgets his first All-Star Game. It is easy to get caught up in the limelight and hard to avoid being in awe of your company during festivities at the Mid Summer Classic. Signed for Tony Kubek before his first All-Star contest is this OAL (Cronin) ball. A wood peg is installed which made for easy display access. Most of the twenty-six autographs fall within the 8/10 range with a few lesser. Highlights include: Howard, Mantle, Wynn, Malzone, Ford, Kuenn, Kaline, Pierce, Cerv (only All-Star team), Jensen, Duren, Skowron, Kubek, O'Dell, Turley, Stengel, Vernon, Lollar, Fox, Bridges, McDougald and Williams (clubhouse). A few minor surface abrasions are visible although none affect any of the major autograph participants. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
