Description
1957 Ted Williams Single Signed Baseball. Pacific Coast League ball is inscribed and signed to Williams' boyhood buddy Hank Ondler, from whom the collection of early Ted Williams memorabilia presented within this auction derives. The ball is deeply toned but the blue ink survives at a boldness rating of 9/10. Included in the lot is a snapshot taken around the time of the signing, picturing the two old friends joking at a banquet of some sort. "Playing days" singles from Williams continue to be highly sought after, and the ironclad provenance makes this example particularly appealing. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
