Description
1956 Pittsburgh Pirates Team Signed Baseball. The Pirates ascension into the upper levels of the National League standings took years to occur. Signed during year two of Roberto Clemente's career in Pittsburgh is this ONL (Giles) baseball. The ball shows the slightest hint of aging, and the signatures average 8/10 with many being a notch up. We determined the vintage as '56 because Red Munger was only a teammate with Clemente during his second stint with the team. Included are: Friend, Mazeroski, Munger, Skinner, Pollett, Arroyo, Thomas, Waters, Clemente, Law, Cole, Foiles, Virdon, Long, Bragan, Hall, Face, Eddie O'Brien, Kleine and four more.
