    Description

1956 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Of the twenty-six World Championship seasons registered by the New York Yankees, the 1956 campaign rates among historians as one of the most memorable. Mickey Mantle's astounding Triple Crown performance helped to propel the Bombers to a nine-game margin of victory over the second place Cleveland Indians to claim the pennant, and Don Larsen's singular perfect game performance in the World Series was key to avenging the previous year's World Series loss to the Brooklyn Dodgers. Thirty-one members of that unforgettable squad have signed in here upon an OAL (Harridge) ball in ballpoint ink. Autographs average 7/10 to 8/10. Included are: Martin, Stengel, Skowron, Byrne, Coleman, Cerv, Collins, Terry, Rizzuto, Carroll (1955-56 with team), Terry, Ford, Siebern, Crosetti, Howard, McDougald, Bauer, Dickey, Mantle, Berra, Carey, Robinson, Turley, Larsen, Sturdivant, Kucks, Morgan (light), Hunter and three more. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
