1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball from The Gary Carter Collection.
The National League Champs were victimized by Larsen's perfect game in the World Series, but the most painful blow came with the retirement of Jackie Robinson months later, before the start of the 1957 season. The heroic Hall of Famer is counted among the twenty-three signatures on the provided ONL (Giles) ball, along with Campanella, Drysdale, Koufax, Alston, Reese, Hodges, Erskine, Newcombe and more. Deemed clubhouse: Snider, Cimoli, Amoros, Gilliam. Signatures average 8.5/10, ball is clean. Letter of provenance from Sandy Carter. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
