Description

1956-65 Jimmie Foxx Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM 7. Long hours of farm work help to create his fabled physique, while his deceptive foot speed was due in part to a high school track career which saw him set numerous records as a schoolboy.

During his Major League career, Jimmie Foxx used his legendary brawn and speed to accumulate accolades by the bushel, including three MVPs, two World Series titles, a Triple Crown, and over 500 home runs. In his Philly days, he teamed with Cochrane, Simmons and Grove. During his Beantown tenure he partnered with Williams, Cronin and Doerr, while serving as a valued mentor and trusted friend to a young Teddy Ballgame.

A fan favorite during his playing days in Philadelphia and Boston (and afterwards in retirement), Jimmie Foxx remains a star in the highest standing even today, as is evidenced by his elevated status in the hobby.

The "Official Little League" baseball featured here is signed across the sweet spot by Double X in bold black ink. After carefully examining this fine specimen, the experts at PSA/DNA have graded the ball 7/10 and signature 7/10, for an overall grade of 7/10. One of the better exemplars of one one of the most coveted single signed baseballs in the hobby. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM 7.
