1955 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. A year after not appearing in the postseason, the Yankees were back atop the American League in 1955. While World Series success didn't ensue, the toast of the AL signed this OAL (Harridge) ball in ballpoint ink. The twenty-six signatures average 6/10 to 7/10 on the aged baseball. The Mickey Mantle signature is a notch above at 8/10. Staining appears on the baseball stampings. "9" is written on one side panel indicating the ball was signed for Hank Bauer. The ball originates from Bauer's nephew as well. Included are: Skowron, Kucks, Sturdivant, Konstanty, Carey, Bauer, Berra, (2) Lopat, Ford, Grim, Morgan, Hunter, Howard, Turley, Byrne, Noren, Leja, Rizzuto, Mantle, Robinson and five more. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
