    Description

1955 Hall of Fame Induction Multi-Signed Baseball with Foxx, Young & Hornsby. The sun shines a little brighter during Hall of Fame weekend in Cooperstown. Baseball greats, past and present, converge on the small town of Cooperstown and the grand game is celebrated. This OAL (Harridge) baseball is signed by some of baseball top immortals. A top coating was applied to the orb along the way to preserve the stellar signatures - 7/10 to 8/10 on average. Jimmie Foxx and Fred Clarke share sweet spot honors. Others who signed the ball include: George Sisler, Dazzy Vance, Rogers Hornsby, Mickey Cochrane, Al Simmons, Paul Waner, Charlie Gehringer (mounting hole near signature), Carl Hubbell, Cy Young (8/10 with light wear), (2) Ed Walsh, Bill Terry, Pie Traynor (7/10), Lefty Grove, Gabby Hartnett, Joe DiMaggio and Frankie Frisch. A few of the autographs have chipping to the surface. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
