1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball, PSA NM 7 from The Joseph O'Toole Collection. Arguably the most important post-war team ball of them all, this ONL (Giles) sphere is signed by twenty-seven mythical members of the 1955 World Series champion Brooklyn Dodgers, including Hall of Famers Robinson, Campanella, Alston (on sweet spot), Herman (over ONL stamp), Snider, Reese, and Koufax. Others of note include Hodges (twice), Podres, Erskine, Furillo, Gilliam, Amoros, Hoak, Zimmer, Craig, Walker, Roebuck, Moryn, Templeton (twice), Meyer, Bessent, Howell, Loes, Shuba, Becker, and Bob Borkowski, whose single season of Ebbets residency ensures 1955 vintage. The ball is off-white and very attractive. The autographs appear bright and bold in overall NRMT blue ballpoint pen.

The majority of all 1955 Dodgers team balls either do not contain all of the key players and/or they contain clubhouse signatures. The fact that this exemplar contains all of the key players in authentic format is something truly special. This specimen, which was signed after June 24th when Koufax debuted, features a spectacular side panel with Robinson, Koufax, Campanella and Hodges, in that order from the top down, as well as both Hall of Famers who were on the coaching staff. Earlier this year, a 1955 Dodgers team ball brought $60,000 in our Platinum Night sale. We believe that this exemplar to be in that elite class. PSA/DNA rates the signatures 8/10 and the ball 6/10. Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM 7. Full LOA from SGC. Letter of provenance from Joseph O'Toole's son.
