    Description

1954 New York Giants Team Signed Baseball. Few pundits gave the National League Champs much of a Fall Classic chance against a Cleveland Indians team which won an astounding 111 games with the most dominating Hall of Fame pitching rotation in history. But a four-game sweep at the hands of these Giants was an utter shock, establishing this Polo Grounds edition as one of the most celebrated in the hobby. This Giants ball has aged marvelously through the years and still contains 8/10 (average) ballpoint signatures from that World Series team. Twenty-five signatures include: Giel, Hearn, Irvin, McCall, Grissom, Mays, Davey Williams, Liddle, Lockman, Jansen, Dark, Thompson, Castleman, Worthington, Gardner, Rhodes, Katt, Westrum, Hofman, Mueller, Taylor and four more. Durocher is a stamp. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
