Description

1953 Brooklyn Dodgers Team Signed Baseball. With such a large percentage of Brooklyn team balls spawned from the single hand of clubhouse man Charles DiGiovanna, it's always a thrill to see the genuine article, as we present here for your bidding pleasure. Twenty-six Bums have checked in on this ONL (Giles) ball, including such diamond immortals as Robinson, Campy, Reese, Snider, Hodges, Podres, Black, Lavagetto, Hall of Famer and coach Billy Herman and even poor Dick Teed, the "Moonlight" Graham of the Dodgers fold who would get his single career at-bat this season on July 24, 1953, and strike out for a lifetime .000 average. Signatures average 8/10, with most notables on that level or higher, and only a few dipping a shade below. A fine specimen from this National League Championship powerhouse. LOA from PSA/DNA.
