    1953 American League All-Star Team Signed Baseball - Mantle's First All-Star Appearance. By the time Mickey Mantle decided to call it a career, he had been an All-Star participant twenty times during his eighteen year Hall of Fame journey. Signed by Mantle the first time he could call himself an All-Star is this very ONL (Giles) baseball. Most of the autographs average 9/10 in strength. Those who signed the fine specimen include: Hunter, Fox, Carrasquel, Rizzuto, Goodman, Zernial, Stengel, Doby, Boudreau, Bauer, Sain, Pierce, Kuenn, Vernon, Reynolds, Mantle, Berra, Kell, White, Eddie Robinson, Lemon, Farris, Mize, Turner and one more.
