1953-65 Branch Rickey Single Signed Baseball, PSA/DNA NM-MT 8. A cold-blooded judge of talent who possessed amazing player-evaluation skills, Branch Rickey's other worthy contributions to the American Pastime, in addition to the role he played in signing Jackie Robinson and integrating other African-Americans into Major League Baseball, included drafting Clemente, introducing the batting tee and batting helmet, advocating for big league expansion, and helping to create the modern minor league farm system. He was also the general manager of four St. Louis World Series championship teams, including the famed Gashouse Gang.

This astounding single signed specimen is a Wilson "Official Pioneer League" baseball (Claude Engberg, president) with "Branch Rickey" beautifully penned across the sweet spot in bold, blue ballpoint pen. The experts at PSA/DNA have awarded the baseball a grade of 7/10, the autograph a grade of 8/10, and an overall grade of 8/10. Full LOA from PSA/DNA, NM-MT 8.
