Description

1952-55 Frankie Frisch Signed Baseball. Some players get the best nicknames, case in point Frankie Frisch, a.k.a. The Fordham Flash. A speedster, glove man, and .316 lifetime hitter, he starred on two title teams for John McGraw's Giants in the early 20's and then won two more with the Redbirds in the 30's, first as the MVP of the 1931 squad and then as the player-manager of the 1934 Gashouse Gang.

Here we present the finest Frisch signed baseball we have offered to date. The ONL (Giles) sphere, with "Edwin C. Johnson, Pres. Western League" stamp on the panel to the right of Giles, is signed large and bold across the sweet spot by The Flash in 10/10 steel-tip blue fountain pen.

While the experts at PSA/DNA have concluded that there is writing removal on the north and west panels, this exemplar presents perfectly as a single, with the sheer size and strength of the autograph making it a most compelling specimen. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.
