1951 New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. While he struggled early, a little seasoning in the minors is what Mickey Mantle truly needed in 1951. He also traded in that No. 6 for No. 7 and all was right in the world. The only year Mantle and Joe DiMaggio could call themselves teammates was 1951. Representing the world champion Yankees is this OAL (Harridge) ball. JSA has deemed the DiMaggio as clubhouse, but Mantle's 8/10 penning steals the show. The ball has toned over the years. The autographs average 7/10 to 8/10 and include: Morgan, Coleman, Kramer, Houk, Martin, Bauer, Mantle, Rizzuto, Mapes, Berra, Collins, Shea, Lopat, Silvera, Mize, McDougald, Woodling (clubhouse), Reynolds, Overmire, Brown, Ostrowski and Hopp. Full LOA from James Spence Authentication.
