1951 Connie Mack, Kid Nichols & Fred Clarke Signed Baseball. Special "Rawlings" baseball is housed in a "Golden Jubilee" velveteen box, suggesting the genesis is a celebration for the fiftieth anniversary of the American League in 1951. The newly retired Connie Mack takes sweet spot honors in booming 9+/10 blue ink, balanced by an equally strong Fred Clarke to the north and a bold but slightly bled offering from "Charles 'Kid' Nichols to the south. Nichols and Clarke are particularly rare on horsehide, with each having commanded five-figure sums for the rare appearance of a genuine single. Their pairing with the legendary Athletics skipper is particularly fortuitous.
