    Description

1950s New York Yankees Pitching Staff Multi Signed Baseball. While hitting steals headlines, a solid pitching staff better be in order for success. The Yankees had top shelf pitching in the 1950's as they won an unprecedented six titles in the decade. Their run of five straight titles is an unparalleled feat. By the time these fabulous four had their final season together, they had amassed a record of 307-143, .682 won-lost percentage to go with their handful of championship hardware. Signed by members of those imposing staffs is this ball, including pitching coach Jim Turner. Those who signed this rarely encountered compilation of talent include: Lopat, Reynolds, Ford and Raschi. Turner inscribed "pitching coach" for good measure. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
