Description

1950's Urban "Red" Faber Single Signed Baseball. An honest (though inactive) member of the 1919 Chicago White Sox World Series team, Faber had been brilliant in the 1917 Fall Classic two seasons earlier, earning three of the four wins required to dispatch the New York Giants. Here we find the Hall of Fame right-hander in 9/10 blue ink on the side panel of an ONL (Giles) ball. An inscription has been rubbed away, leaving only the signature. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
