    Description

1950's Tris Speaker Signed Baseball. It was a legendary career that almost never happened, as Speaker's left arm was so badly damaged in a college football injury that doctors initially suggested amputation. But Speaker recovered to become one of the greatest hitters the game has ever known, maintaining to this day the career record for doubles, and top ten positions in average, hits and triples.

The baseball great applied his name to this Official Home Run League ball across the bottom of the sweet spot. The orb has been restored to remove other signatures but the 8/10 Speaker signature makes this a keeper. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
