Description

1950's Tris Speaker, Paul Waner & Stan Musial Signed Baseball. They're numbers four (Musial), five (Speaker) and seventeen (Waner) on the career leader board for Major League hits, responsible for an astounding 10,296 hits between them. We aren't certain what scenario brought this elite sampling of batsmen together, but the ONL (Giles) model sphere places that meeting squarely in Musial's prime, as Giles assumed the National League presidency in 1951, and Speaker passed in 1958. It's the elder statesman who takes sweet spot honors, flanked by Musial to the north and Waner to the south, each at a breathtaking 9/10 level. The ball itself matches the quality of the autographs, presenting a creamy, vintage tone. Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
Letter of provenance from the Musial family.
